Meet Emily

I'm your typical monogram-wearing, pearl-loving, southern belle. I was raised wearing hair bows and smocked dresses – you know, ‘cause “pretty is as pretty does.

I've always appreciated beauty. My mom was throwing Pinterest parties before Pinterest existed. She’s been my creative inspiration as long as I can remember, with a knack for transforming simple into elegance.

Over the years, I’ve found and developed my own passion for orchestrating beauty. Decor, design, photographymy favorite hobbies involve arranging things in the most flattering light.

My goal for my photography is two-fold – first, to make you feel beautiful, and second, to capture true-to-life moments in a classy, timeless way. Something you’ll hear me say a lot is “This might feel weird, but…” Together, we’ll get any insecurities out in the open early so your session is comfortable and leaves you with images you’ll cherish for years to come.

Meet Peter

If I take your photos, there is a 97% chance that you'll get to meet my sweet husband, Peter. He's from Indiana and I'm from Alabama. We met our freshman year of college, and started dating when we were juniors. We were married at my home church in Birmingham, Alabama in June 2020 (I'm a covid bride!). Now we have a little house in Pensacola, Florida and work at our Alma Mater.

On the weekends, you'll find us spending time with our sweet baby boy while getting bagels and coffee at our favorite local bagel spot, or maybe reading Dave Ramsey books.
